Smart Fusion built Neuronix Tech's private cloud on Proxmox VE, a four-node cluster on HP ProLiant servers with two dedicated GPU workstations for AI training and inference, and the storage, networking, high availability, backup, and monitoring to run everything in production.
Neuronix Tech's products were spread across standalone servers, and its AI experiments depended on cloud GPUs rented by the hour. The company wanted one platform it owned: predictable costs, data kept in-house, headroom to grow, and dedicated GPU compute always available, without hiring a full infrastructure team to build it.
Smart Fusion designed and deployed a private cloud on a Proxmox VE cluster of four HP ProLiant servers (two DL380 and two DL360). The company's platforms were migrated into isolated virtual machines and containers, backed by ZFS storage with snapshots, templates, and high availability. Two Dell Precision 7920 workstations were added as dedicated AI machines with full PCIe GPU passthrough, NVIDIA CUDA, and a container runtime for training and inference. The platform was segmented into management, cluster, workload, and AI networks behind a firewall, backed up cluster-wide on a schedule with tested restores, and instrumented with metrics, alerting, and runbooks. Smart Fusion closed the engagement with documentation and an administrator handover.
